Jennifer Garner, born April 17, 1972 in Houston, Texas, was born within Charleston West Virginia. William John Garner served as an engineer at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann Garner taught in the same college as her. Desiring to follow the footsteps of her father, she graduated with an engineering degree in chemical technology. Because she wished to become an actor, she moved to New York. She was a chef at the restaurant in New York, and appeared in Broadway productions. She had a cameo role in the television series "Felicity." (It is in this series when she met her first husband, Scott Foley.) She got her big break in the action film "Alias." Garner's first lead role was in the acclaimed romance "13 going on thirty." She portrayed the role of a teenager caught stuck in the body of an older woman of 30.
